What’s World Blind Golf ?
World Blind Golf is an Australian registered not-for-profit charity formed in 2020 to provide AWESOME opportunities for all blind and low vision players, their friends and supporters.
Managed and operated by blind and low vision golfers, for the benefit of blind and low vision golfers, World Blind Golf brings fun, integration and inclusion to the rapidly growing world of international all-abilities golf.
Blind and low vision golfers and their golf clubs can now benefit from independently-audited standards-based international best-practice sports management which aims to provide powerful community and social engagement opportunities to all low vision golfers regardless of their level of vision or eyesight condition.
World Blind Golf is committed to increasing both the numbers of blind and low vision golfers and the awareness of the sport in the golfing community worldwide. We are working with a growing number of blind golf clubs and organisations worldwide to provide all new, aspiring and existing blind and low vision golfers the benefits that come from a healthy, active and rewarding golfing lifestyle.
World Blind Golf is focused on providing inclusive opportunities to blind and low vision players at a local level, worldwide – working with our partner clubs to ensure all players are sharing in the benefits that come from participating in community sport.
What we do

Promote the sport of golf among the wider community and specifically, increase the awareness of blind golf within the golfing and all-abilities sporting sector. -
Promote the sport of golf among individuals who are blind or have low vision, and to encourage their participation in the sport. -
Organize and conduct golf tournaments and events that are specifically designed for individuals who are blind or have low vision. -
Encourage and support training and coaching for individuals who are blind or have low vision and wish to improve their golf skills and abilities. -
Develop and implement rules, guidelines and best practice for blind golf that are consistent with international standards. -
Advocate for the inclusion of individuals who are blind or have low vision in all aspects of the golfing community, including at local, regional, and national levels. -
Establish partnerships with other organizations and individuals that share our mission and goals. -
To raise public awareness about the capabilities and achievements of blind and visually impaired golfers, and to promote a positive image of blindness in general. -
Provide opportunities for social interaction and networking among blind and visually impaired golfers, and to foster a sense of community and camaraderie within the organization. -
Ensure that blind and low vision golfers have access to appropriate equipment and facilities that enable them to participate fully in the sport. -
Continually evaluate and improve our programs and services in order to better serve the needs of individuals who are blind or have low vision and wish to participate in golf.
